Why No Numbers Here?
A quick search of the Internet will show that the pricing of services like mine vary greatly. Unfortunately, my profession is not as simple as ‘you get what you pay for.’ Pricing is literally all over the map and the quality of the writing is not always in keeping with the prices charged.
A commonality you might find among providers who offer higher quality work is the lack of posted prices. This field is highly competitive and pricing is often decided on a project-by-project basis.
Cheap content can often be obtained from providers in other countries. Some of these folks can write well and offer a great value. However, the majority do not write well and their online content often contains odd phrasing (similar to the heading above) and grammatical errors common to someone for whom English is not their first language.
Pricing Ballpark
My prices are comparable to what web designers and programmers charge. Having done all three, I know that they require a similar level of skill and expertise and should be compensated fairly equally.
If you believe that a fully functioning website should cost no more than a couple of hundred dollars, you will need to look somewhere else for a content writer. If you believe that skilled professionals are entitled to charge a fair wage for their services, then we may be more of a fit.
Pricing will vary somewhat based upon the complexity of the project and the types of services desired. Depending upon our relationship and the nature of the project, some services will be offered as a package and others will be offered at a straight hourly rate.
